Cambridge C2 Proficiency course

This online course kicks off in October and runs until mid June. All the live classes are hosted in Zoom (or Google Meet or Skype in emergencies). You have permanent access to the materials.

Who is it for?

The perfect CPE course student

• speaks C1 or C2 English (see CEFR for languages),
• is willing to commit 5 hours a week minimum to studying and practicing English and
• determined to complete the course and sit the Cambridge Proficiency exam.

The FEE includes:

• four 90-minute online classes a month in groups of 4 to 6 students
• one Speaking Club session a month (in a group of 6 to 12 people according to the Speaking Club timetable: Tues 10:00 Msc and Thurs 20:00 Msc - choose one every month)
• essential course materials (I recommend you to buy the coursebook though)
• supplementary articles, videos & vocab by skill and by topic 
• 8 writing tasks with teacher’s feedback, throughout the course
• min. 3 peer-assessed writing tasks (optional), throughout the course
• one full mock exam in April or MAy, with speaking assessed by a Cambridge examiner
• one 1-to-1 consultation with Marina (40 minutes), any time during the course

• one Exam Booster workshop a month might be included (depending on the total number of stsudents in CPE groups)

Systemic and comprehensive, this study plan is designed to take 8 months of regular studying minimum. It is based on the 'Proficiency Expert' coursebook by Pearson and includes the following:

• a week-by-week, module-by-module, aspect-by-aspect guide to the materials to use in your exam preparation
• links to publicly available official Cambridge Assessment materials for C2 Proficiency
• supplementary authentic resources by topic and/or by coursebook module

It doesn't have links to copyright books that are not available free. You will have to buy or borrow the coursebook and other reference books.
